News for the UChicago community

Today we unite as a community for UChicago Together, an opportunity to join one another in support of students, frontline health care workers, and the University’s neighbors. It's also a good occasion to reflect on some of the legacies we share.

We bring you stories of UChicago history makers and traditions, hoping you'll think back on common bonds to the University at a time when feeling connected is more precious than ever. Salute the woman who discovered the first human coronavirus, follow a team of archaeologists into Armageddon, and prepare to welcome a new generation of feathered friends to Botany Pond.

And, as ever, we hope you'll let us know how you're doing and what you're thinking.
